Education is Everything

Slow down, raise the bar. I am fascinated by the relationships between education, sustainability and art. The more I think about it, the more I read about it - the link always points to slowing down in order to enjoy, to expand.

Very often genius is in simplicity. Formulas make predictions simple and the 80/20 formula for me, simplifies decisions and information in education, sustainability and art.

I grew up with my Mother baking. Always. The cupboards were full of meringues, the freezer with honey cakes and dough for rogaliki (crescent-shaped) pastries filled with jams. Mom didn’t visit anyone without bringing a tray of delectable delights. I am sad to say, I didn’t appreciate it at the time.

My story will begin in my final year of high school. Back then, in Onatrio this was Grade 13; I told my English teacher I would be applying for an Engineering degree. The energy in the room shifted - I was excited, she scowled. "Engineers don't do well in English".
